Beware of Jr Stock exhaust flanges. I became aware of an illegal exhaust flange at the Dirt Grands in the Jr Stock Deco class. The flange has a ½ inch hole at the flange to block area. The outlet is tapered in towards the block thus enhancing performance of the restricted engine. If you think you have one of these have it checked by your local Tech Director before you race. Most racers run a Shorty pipe and flange these are legal. The following picture may help. This is an example of the illegal flange.
